Tourism Department , Government of Assam , this year initiated a massive branding for the promotion of Assam Tourism and as a part of promotion of Tourism, the following measures has been taken :
- Printing of promotional materials of Assam Tourism for wide circulation and better visibility of the Tourism products of Assam.
- Airing Advertisement inside the Aircraft of all the major Airlines viz. Indigo, Spice Jet, Go-Air, Air Asia, Jet Airways, Air India etc.
- Participation in all the Major National & International Fairs viz. WTM London, ITB, Berlin, Bangladesh Travel and Tourism Fair and TTF Kolkata, IITF , New Delhi, SATTE, New Delhi etc..
- Organizing Road Shows outside the State of Assam
- Organizing Religious festivals like Ambubachi Mela at Kamakhya Temple, Raas Festival at Majuli and Doul Utsav at Barpeta etc.
